Expansion Joint Tape Marvel - FPO Tape
Expansion Joint Tape by Marvel is a Thermo Plastic Elastomer based tape designed to bridge expansion joints, construction joints, and cracks before waterproofing membrane application. The 6 inches to 10 inches wide and 1mm or 2 mm thick tape is embedded into the waterproofing system to provide a flexible, crack-bridging interlayer that accommodates structural movement and prevents membrane failure at joint locations. Compatible with cementitious, acrylic, and polyurethane waterproofing systems. Suitable for roofs, terraces, basements, water tanks, and podium slabs. Supplied as a 20-metre roll per pack. HSN 39204300. These are used to provide permanent, watertight seals for construction and structural joints. They are heavily utilized in waterproofing terraces, basements, balconies, water treatment plants, and bridges expansion joints. Generally 1mm is used for vertical joints and 2mm is used for horizontal ones. The requirement is for moving joints integrated in structures where high degree of reliability in jt sealing is needed.
