Pace & Place: An Architecture Run Club
Green spaces offer runners certain non-negotiables: access to nature, a sense of clean air and respite from traffic. In central London, running often means stitching together pockets of greenery, moving from one to the next. In doing so, an unexpected sequence of urban experiences unfolds. It invites the question: by simply moving between green spaces, what can we learn about the history of placemaking in central London? Join Studio Mango for a socially paced 5km loop starting and ending at Bowling Green Lane. The route takes in Georgian squares, churchyards, post-war housing landscapes, and contemporary pocket parks. We’ll finish with drinks and snacks in the courtyard to reflect on the route and get to know one another a little better. Date: Wednesday July 1st Time: 18:30-19:30 Location: Zaha Hadid Foundation, 10 Bowling Green Ln, London EC1R 0BQ
