The VOX V212HWX was designed as a premium extension cabinet within VOX's acclaimed Hand-Wired range, delivering the unmistakable sound and aesthetic of the company's most celebrated vintage rigs. Combining traditional construction methods with a pair of Celestion Alnico Blue speakers, it produces the rich harmonic complexity, sparkling top end, and dynamic response that have made VOX a favourite of players for more than six decades. Constructed from birch ply and built to vintage-inspired specifications, the V212HWX offers a noticeably resonant and open sound compared to many modern speaker cabinets. Its semi-closed back design provides an excellent balance of projection, clarity, and low-end support, while the twin Celestion Alnico Blues deliver the signature chime and smooth compression associated with some of the most iconic guitar tones ever recorded. Finished in classic Fawn tolex with traditional diamond grille cloth, the V212HWX captures the appearance of the coveted JMI-era VOX cabinets while offering the reliability of modern production. According to the serial number format used on Korg-era VOX products, serial number N07-010145 indicates manufacture in July 2017, placing it amongst the later examples of this highly regarded hand-wired series.
