Samurai Ink Painted Aloha Shirt [SSA26-01]
The falcons used in falconry were an important companion to samurai warriors, and portraits of hawks were often painted during the Muromachi period (approximately 1500-1600 years ago). Hawks are known to be proud and capable, so they symbolize the bravery and dignity of the samurai, and they were often depicted with pine trees, symbolizing longevity and prosperity. The fabric is a satin made of rayon and organic cotton. The outer surface is shiny thanks to the rayon, but the back side is soft to the touch due to the cotton. The buttons are made of bamboo.
