We started out with fifteens and now we're back with a pair of epic 15" cabs! The 30:24 brings the tone you loved in the great 15"s of the '70s (the ones with massive magnets) but with comically low weight in an imposing 2x15". If you're here, you probably know why you want this - epic efficiency from the cone area and large well-tuned ported enclosure; the midrange bark and slam of a light cone strong magnet 15" (this is not your el-cheapo beginner boom box sound), the depth in the lows to thunder and the right balance of fatness and thickness to say I am a BASS guitar on any stage, and enough treble bite and clarity that everyone wonders why these big speakers don't ever sound muddy. And enough thermal and mechanical power handling that BIG amps and LOUD gigs with other bassists sharing your rig are zero stress. 24" wide to sit perfectly under SVT's and other big tube heads (valves if you're this side of the Atlantic) - not as wide as the biggest Bassman amps but close enough to still look cool (and fit through doorways). Don't retire the big rig because it hurts to move it - get a 30:24 and hear an even better version of that classic tone and almost enjoy being your own roadie. Or if you'd always hankered after that sound you heard (and felt!) when you borrowed a great 2x15" rig but were always too practical to buy one, be a rockstar and wheel a 30:15 into your next rehearsal. And yes, we do a T version too - some people (including me in the past) would have said that a conventional tweeter doesn't make sense on a 15" bass cab because there's too big a step change in dispersion patterns in the treble region. But it makes for the baddest slap sound ever - proper thumpin' and pluckin' fatness plus zing.
