Danish Modern Design Teapot by Erik Magnussen for Mojoo
Australia-wide Tracked and Insured Shipping Included This iconic Erik Magnussen teapot is a masterpiece of Danish modern design, blending sculptural form with industrial precision. While in traditional teapot manufacture, the spout and handle are attached separately, Erik Magnusson's minimalist design enables the pot to be molded as one piece, with the handle and spout fully integrated within the body. First produced in 1969 by Bing & Groendahl, it was redesigned in 2007 by Erik Magnusson for the Danish design and manufacturing enterprise Mojoo — resulting in this timeless piece. One of the Bing & Groendahl versions of this Danish modern design teapot is held by the British Museum, while the National Museum of Norway holds a Mojoo version. The teapot is designed for right-handed users. Erik Magnussen (1940–2014), one of Denmark’s leading post-war designers, was most famous for his collaborations with Stelton. IMPORTANT: This Danish modern design teapot may display signs of wear consistent with its age. Please review the photographs, measurements, and weight as they are integral to the item’s description.
