CV advance/clockless/slave option for WOAS Input control voltage will advance the internal sequence/generative process when it exceeds the internal threshold. The harder the onset the harder the sync. To prime flip start up and then down to arm advance. With start down, the TAP button can be used to reset the sequencer to its beginning. Signals connected to 5V TAP will advance the internal sequence. The relative rate at which this happens is set by resolution. Adjust your resolution to suit the clock source that you’re using. Turning the resolution dial anticlockwise divides the duration of advancing pulse progressively: 16, 8, 4 and 2 ppqn. Please contact me if you have a specific ppqn you would like to match. With start flipped up the WOAS functions normally as an independent unit. If you have an older WOAS you may want to modify the value of R21 to 1kOhm for better eurorack compatibility as pictured. Replacing your WOAS beat engine: Disconnect all cables from your WOAS. Turn over the device, unscrew and remove the 8 screws on the back panel. Remove the back panel. Locate the SD card holder at the bottom of the circuit board. Press the SD card lightly to release it, trying not to touch the circuit board. Remove the SD card.
