This is best done with the Captive Cap on an assembled device. Removing Cap Armor: Remove the Cap Armor from the Cap while installed on a tip. Hold the digger-outer with your thumb against the tip and gently wiggle and pull the Cap Armor off the Cap. This will allow the Cap Armor to separate without excessive force. NOTES Due to the nature of its press fit design, minor dents or impressions on the upper crimp of the Captive Cap are possible. This is normal and will not affect function of either part.
