Hale Farm, Hale Green, Chiddingly, East Sussex, BN8 6HQ Thursday 28th to Friday 29th May PREHISTORY DIG SCHOOL 10am-3pm For children aged 7-12 yrs This half term Archaeodiscovery will run a two-day archaeology school for children aged 7-12 yrs. Participants will work with experienced professional archaeologists, DIGGING, MAKING and DOING. The dig school will be a two-day adventure in archaeology, where children can experiment with a range of archaeological techniques. Emphasis will be given to exploring ideas practically, using inspiring materials and looking at the processes of contemporary archaeologists working today. The focus of dig school will be on working together, inspiring playfulness and inquisitiveness, through which children will make friends, learn new skills and grow in confidence. The cost of the course is £110 per child for the 2 days (Thursday-Friday) Single days - £55 per child Courses are now available to be booked in various options on our website. Children will need to bring: a packed lunch, snacks, water bottle and clothes they can get messy in.
