Each batch of yarn represents a unique moment in time - a year's worth of wool growth for one sheep, influenced by their surroundings, nutrition and age - it can't be repeated! This skein was grown by Flo, our gorgeous moorit (brown) gal. This is her lamb wool so the color is a rich brown and it is next-to-skin soft! Flo is a Corriedale/Romney/Romeldale cross bred sheep. Romney and Corriedale wool is known for it's beautiful, soft crimp combined with the luster and strength of longwools. Soft enough for next-to-skin yet sturdy enough for almost anything! 3-ply worsted weight yarn. 4 oz skein is about 160 yards.
