COLT M1862 POLICE PERCUSSION REVOLVER CASED SET SN#21600 1863 PRODUCTION

Original Civil War Colt M1862 Police Percussion Revolver Cased Set. The gun has all matching serial numbers including the wedge of 21600 which is an 1863 Production. The gun was plated and looks really nice. Has the New York barrel address on it's 5 1/2" .36 cal barrel. Has nice rifling remaining. Colt Patent stamp on the left side of the frame as well as Patent stamp on the cylinder. The mechanics are functional but it has a weak main spring. The cylinder only rotates when pointing down. Comes in a reproduction case but has all period accessories. Includes a Colt Patent .36 cal mold, Eagle Powder Flask, Percussion Caps and unfortunately .31 cal Bullets. Still look good with display. Amazing overall relic that will make a great addition to any Civil War Collection. Please see all photos for condition.
