Honoring the memory of Herbert Podell z”l

Herbert Podell along with his wife, Lorraine, have been devoted supporters of Magen David Adom for more than 14 years. This page is devoted to a campaign to honor the life of Herbert Podell and Magen David Adom has been a cherished cause for Herbert in addition to the parks and playgrounds he built in Israel to honor his parents, Henrietta and Hymen Podell. Over the years, he has supported various charities in Israel but in recent years, MDA has been closest to his heart. Herb and Lorraine have generously sponsored a Life Support Ambulance and a medicycle and have proudly served as Co‑Chairs of the Palm Beach Magen David Adom Gala in 2016, 2018, and 2019. Their enduring commitment reflects a deep love for Israel and Magen David Adom and was a driving force behind their meaningful mission to Israel—further exemplifying their sustained generosity, leadership, and dedication to saving lives.
