Yachtmaster Theory Course 2026.C1

Classroom Course Running this September this course is designed for those with a background theory level to at least Day Skipper. The course will work through the Yachtmaster Theory syllabus over a series of Thursday evenings from September. Yachtmaster Theory – Classroom Course 1 Thursdays from 6.30-10pm September – 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th October – 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th November – 5th, 12th Exam on Saturday 14th November from 9.30am-4pm What we’ll cover: Secondary Port Calculations Course Shaping and Plotting Use of Almanacs in conjunction with Admiralty Publications Advanced use of Chartplotters and other Electronic Position Fixing Equipment The interpretation of weather forecasts including use of forecasting with a Barometer Passage Planning, Routing and Plotting We’ll provide all course notes and materials. All you’ll need is a notebook.
