New Vintage 1990s JDM Honda Primo Excellent Dealership Coveralls Tsunagi

An original period-style Honda Primo Excellent mechanic coverall from Japan’s 1990s dealer-service era. This red-and-white tsunagi—the Japanese term for a one-piece work suit—features bold Honda graphics and the Honda Primo and Excellent chest insignia, making it a standout piece of vintage JDM automotive workwear. Honda Primo was one of Honda Japan’s three dedicated dealership channels. Introduced in 1985 and identified by its red color, Primo served customers until the network was consolidated into Honda Cars in 2006. This coverall belongs to that now-defunct dealership era and reflects the uniform worn on the service and maintenance side of Japan’s Honda retail network. Honda Primo was a car brand Honda sold in Japan from 1981 to 2006. Honda originally created it as a separate sales channel for smaller vehicles, such as Kei and Civic cars. Honda discontinued the Primo brand in 2006 when it merged its three sales channels into a single dealership. The first Primo model was the Honda Today, a kei car introduced in 1981.
