HMS Victory WW1 medal group. Medals – British War Medal and Allied Victory Medal pair (L. 5350 W. RENYARD. O.S. 2. R.N.), Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (GVR) (L. 5350 W. RENYARD. O.S. 2. H.M.S. VICTORY.). Selling with 2 Church Lads Brigade medals and small quantity of accoutrements. LSGC awarded 28th June 1929. William Renyard was born 26th November 1893 in Beaulieu, Brockenhurst, New Forest, Hampshire and he was a Footman when he joined the Royal Navy, for 12 years, 19th May 1914. He was discharged 12th October 1926. 1939 Census – Mess Waiter RN Pensioner. He died in Cosham, Portsmouth, Hampshire, 1967.
