J A Henckels 8" Carving Knife Forged Carbon Steel Stag Blade Solingen 1905-1920s Handle 1960s

Vintage 8" J. A. Henckels carving knife with blade from approx. 1905 to the 1920s, recently set here at Bernal Cutlery with a new-old-stock German stag handle from the 1960s. Slightly anachronistic, but still in keeping with the knife's overall feel. The blade has been lightly thinned and has some pitting; it shows its age but still has plenty of work left to do stylistically.
