English Crystal Decanters (Pair)

This pair of English crystal decanters were made by Stuart (Stourbridge, England, 1827-2001). The ribbed necks make handling secure and pleasurable. Each piece was mouth-blown and hand-cut—which makes each piece slightly different. Even the stopper was custom-made to fit each individual decanter. The hand-cut "Hampshire" pattern (1955-1981) is understatedly handsome—and reminiscent of an 18th Century pattern. Each decanter holds 28 fluid ounces. Stuart crystal is leaded; while drinks may be served in these decanters, using them for long-term storage of spirits is not advisable. (10.5" x 5") sw13206e c. 1955-1981
