Responsibly sourced from Rubyvale, Queensland, Australia. A symmetrical round sapphire with a rich, velvety blue that holds strongly from center to edge. The blue is consistent and deep, not straying into any secondary tones. It remains uniformly rich across the entire surface, refusing to lighten even at the girdle. The faceting returns a subtle play of light, with most reflections appearing more muted and satin-like rather than lively or sparkling. Small inclusions are visible near the center under magnification but remain indistinct to the unaided eye. At 6.20 by 6.16mm, the stone presents a broad face for its 0.96ct weight, with a shallower depth of 3.12mm contributing to a larger appearance across the top. Please be aware that photography and video cannot fully capture this stone. Our lightbox images are taken under artificial light, which can wash sapphires out and flatten their depth of colour.
