When temperatures approach freezing, turn the FrostPro cap clockwise by hand to activate it. To keep the continuous flow from overfilling the tank, the extension arm can be lowered to drop the water level, minimizing spillage through the tank overflow pipe. When temperatures are back above freezing, turn FrostPro off by hand and retract the extension arm. Installation on a Topaz trough valve is simple. Unscrew the hex blanking cap with a flat-bladed screwdriver, making sure the O-ring is still in the hole. Screw FrostPro into the valve, hand tight only.
