ROLEX Oyster Cosmograph Daytona Ref. 6239 (1969)

I've often said the pump pusher Daytona is the perfect watch - my personal 6239 black dial is my one watch over all - the size is perfection (it seems impossible to think it's essentially the same as an Explorer 1), the dial, so effortlessly balanced, and it is steeped in motor racing history - put simply, for me it is hard to find a better watch This example dating from 1969 is precisely how you'd want to find it - the dial is near perfect, with all (original) lume plots in tact, and hands match perfectly - in my opinion there has been no intervention here - you's be hard pushed to find a better dial The case has been polished in the past to restore factory finish to the highest level, respectfully though, and clearly not much was required to be done as the proportions remain thick and the lugs holes with the breathing room you'd like The watch is fitted to correct 7835 bracelet with 271 endlinks - I have no reason to believe this is not the original (13 link) bracelet I don't know the service history of the watch, but it is currently running exceptionally well with ah amplitude of 233 degrees and within one second per day
