Outex Camera Entry Kit — Universal Waterproof Camera Housing System
Outex Camera Entry Kit — Universal Waterproof Camera Housing System The Outex Entry Kit is the most accessible way to get started with professional waterproof camera housing — compatible with virtually all film, DSLR, and mirrorless cameras. It includes the patented Outex cover and a front optical glass port in the filter thread size of your choice, giving you solid waterproof protection for beach, surf, rain, snow, and underwater use. Trusted by photographers and enthusiasts in more than 50 countries since 2010, with a 4.7/5 satisfaction rating from a worldwide community of creators. Thinking ahead? The Entry Kit is a great starting point, and it’s fully upgradeable. More than 80% of Outex customers choose the Pro Kit — and many Entry Kit owners upgrade to it over time. The difference is the rear glass port, which adds viewfinder and LCD visibility and access, maintains all functional control - even behind the glass - and unlocks the full Outex add-on ecosystem. You can upgrade at any time by adding a Pro Cover and Rear Glass from our Parts collection — nothing else needs to change. What’s Included Outex entry cover — patented, malleable, tactile-rich outer housing Front optical glass port — your choice of filter thread size Entry Kit Features Works with virtually all cameras (DSLR, mirrorless, cinema, film) Front optical glass port — not plastic or acrylic Basic tactile control of camera and lens functions through the cover Waterproof to 10 metres / 33 feet Fully upgradeable to the Pro Kit at any time Note: Unlike the Pro Kit, the Entry cover does not include a rear glass port, so viewfinder and LCD viewing through the rear are not available. For full camera functionality, complete add-on kit compatibility, and the best long-term value, most customers choose the Pro Kit. See our Entry vs. Pro Kit guide or our FAQs to compare.
