OG Jigs Circle Snag

The OG Jigs Circle Snag puts a different twist on traditional bunker snagging with a 3 oz weighted design featuring 9/0 inline circle hooks instead of the conventional treble hook. Available in single-hook and double-hook configurations, these snags are built for anglers targeting striped bass feeding on schools of bunker. Snag a live bunker and fish it on the same rig without having to reel it in and transfer it to another hook. The circle hook design offers a different approach to hooking striped bass. Unlike traditional hooks that require a forceful hookset, circle hooks are designed to set themselves as the fish takes the bait and the line comes tight. This encourages solid hookups in the corner of the fish's jaw while reducing the likelihood of deep hooking. For anglers practicing catch and release, corner-of-the-jaw hookups can also mean easier hook removal, less handling time, and a better chance of releasing a healthy striped bass. Whether you're fishing from the surf or a boat, the OG Jigs Circle Snag offers a convenient way to fish live bunker when big bass are feeding.
