Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens

Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM: Constant f/2.8 Wide-Angle Zoom with 5-Stop Stabilization The Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM is an L-series ultra-wide zoom made for Canon’s full-frame RF-mount mirrorless cameras. It opens up to f/2.8 at every focal length and adds up to 5 stops of optical image stabilization, so it handles dim interiors, night skies, and handheld video without much compromise. Starting at 15mm, it is the widest zoom in Canon’s RF L lineup. Wide Field of View, Practical Size A 15-35mm range covers sweeping landscapes, cramped rooms, street scenes, and group shots from one lens. It measures 88.5mm in diameter and 126.8mm in length, and weighs about 840g. The 0.28m (0.92ft) minimum focus distance lets you place a subject close to the lens while the wide angle keeps the background in frame. Optics and Weather-Ready Construction The lens has 16 elements in 12 groups, including three aspherical elements and two UD elements to help control distortion and chromatic aberration. Air Sphere Coating reduces flare and ghosting when you shoot into bright light. A nine-blade rounded diaphragm gives soft, natural out-of-focus areas, and the dust- and weather-resistant body with a fluorine-coated front element is built for field use. Nano USM Focusing and a Customizable Control Ring The Nano USM motor focuses smoothly and almost silently, which works well for both stills and video. The programmable control ring lets you change aperture, ISO, shutter speed, or exposure compensation directly from the lens barrel.
