4-Layer Papercut Ketubah – Four Seasons Tree Design

Art by Sara Goldberg Size: 18 × 18 inches This Four Seasons Tree Papercut Ketubah is created with four individually cut paper layers, giving the artwork a beautiful three-dimensional effect. The layered cutouts create a sense of depth through the sky, with each layer receding toward the center like overlapping clouds, naturally drawing the eye toward the ketubah text. Inspired by the Purpleleaf Plum tree (Prunus cerasifera), commonly found in parks across Israel, the design follows the natural cycle of the seasons. Spring awakens with delicate pink blossoms, summer thrives with vibrant green leaves, autumn glows with warm orange hues and falling leaves, and winter reveals the quiet beauty of bare branches. The four-layer construction adds a sculptural quality to the original artwork, creating soft shadows and visible separation between the layers while keeping the wedding text at the heart of the design. Together, the changing seasons symbolize the journey of marriage through growth, change, renewal, and enduring strength. Personalize the ketubah with your choice of text and customization options to create a meaningful piece of art for your wedding and your home.
