The estates span approximately 2,000 acres and combine coffee production with a diverse ecosystem of shade trees, wildlife and other crops. The estates grow both Arabica and Robusta, producing approximately 750 metric tonnes of coffee annually. Sustainability plays an important role in the farming practices, with organic materials such as coffee pulp, husk, cattle manure and mulch returned to the soil. The estates also grow pepper, areca and oranges alongside coffee, creating a diverse agricultural environment. The farms have been managed by K.S. Vaidyanathan for more than 50 years, combining traditional farming practices with modern techniques. Rich and intense with a distinctive bitterness, this is a coffee for those who enjoy a darker, heavier cup. Its natural processing preserves the characteristic depth and intensity of the Robusta, making it particularly well suited to espresso and milk-based drinks. Barista's Notes Robusta Move brings serious body to the cup. As espresso, expect a powerful shot with a rich texture, low acidity and a pronounced earthy bitterness. It works exceptionally well with milk, where its intensity cuts through beautifully and creates a traditional, full-bodied espresso drink. It can also be used to add extra body and crema to espresso blends.
