Nikon Coolpix S550 Digital Camera

Introduced in 2008, the Nikon COOLPIX S550 brings a 10 MP CCD sensor and 5× Zoom-NIKKOR lens together in a slim Graphite Black body. Its built-in flash, 2.5-inch LCD, electronic vibration reduction, Smile mode, and Blink Warning make it an approachable camera for everyday photos and portraits. It also records 640 × 480 video. Reviewers praised the S550’s neat metal body, easy handling, and pleasing color, particularly in portraits. Its longer zoom gives you more room to frame a candid moment from a distance, while its simple controls keep the experience firmly in classic point-and-shoot territory.
