Tunisian Crochet: Shaping with Increases & Decreases

See cancellation policy below. Ready to move beyond basic rectangles? In this class, you'll learn how increases and decreases can be used to shape Tunisian crochet projects. Using a small scarf inspired by the popular Sophie scarf style, we'll practice a variety of shaping techniques while creating a wearable accessory. Along the way, you'll learn when and where to increase and decrease stitches and how these techniques can be applied to future Tunisian crochet projects. Students should be comfortable with the Tunisian simple stitch and basic Tunisian crochet techniques before enrolling. Pre-requisites: Must have taken Beginner Tunisian Crochet class OR Completed projects using Tunisian Crochet and are familiar with the terms. This is NOT an absolute beginner class. Please be aware that class time will not be spent on reteaching the aforementioned prerequisites. Supplies Needed: Yarn: 1 Skein DK Weight yarn 5 mm Tunisian Crochet hook Scissors Tapestry needle Supplies purchased at Yarncom for this class will receive a 10% discount. *some exclusions apply Minimum Number of Students: 3 If class minimum is not met by 48 hours before class start, class will be cancelled. Registrants will be contacted via phone and/or email, and refunded the full class fee to their original form of payment. Class Policies The schedule presented is the available time for the instructor. If you are unable to attend a class session, a 1:1 lesson can be scheduled at an additional cost. Yarncom must be notified a minimum of 48 hours before the first session begins if you will not be attending. Refunds will not be available for cancellations within 48 hours of the first session. Credit card refunds for cancellations are available with a $15 administration fee. Store credit refunds for cancellations are available at no additional fee. The credit will be added to your customer profile. You may reschedule your class up to 48 hours before the first session if the class is offered at another time. Exceptions at management discretion.
