Check the folded size against your car boot, and ask us to weigh it with and without the battery if someone will be lifting it. Ask for the instructions for use and read them before the first ride. Ask about a carer joystick, which lets a companion drive the chair from behind. Flying with it? Check with the airline first — each airline sets its own rules for lithium batteries. Ask what comes in the box.
