Elegant and Reliable Design Streamlined metal lens barrel includes dedicated focus and zoom rings along with an assignable control ring, which can be set to adjustment shutter speed, aperture setting, ISO, EV, or even the subject type when used with the X2D II's subject detection mode. The rings are engraved with the 'H' logo for improved feel and the lens also features a 'Hasselblad V' insignia nameplate and the lens's name is engraved on top of the barrel. Despite offering a longer zoom range and faster maximum aperture, this 35-100mm f/2.8-4 is 19% lighter in weight and 10% shorter in length than the 35-75mm f/3.5-4.5 zoom—it weighs 2 lb and measures 5.4" long compared to the 2.5 lb weight and 5.7" length of the older lens.
