No. 499 is a Style 3 Weissenborn made from an exceptional set of AAA-grade Hawaiian Koa, air-dried and seasoned for 20 years — fitting for such a milestone instrument. The Koa is among the most beautiful I have worked with, showing remarkable figure, depth, and colour variation, from golden amber through to dark chocolate streaking. It has a deep, rich, warm voice, with a captivating resonance that reflects the age and quality of this very special Hawaiian Koa. Featuring traditional Style 3 trim and Waverly tuning machines.
