Several glazes layer together on this planter. Soft, watery washes of sea green, blue, and pink drift across the upper half, blending and shifting into one another like spilled watercolour. Below, they trail off into beautiful drips over the bare, speckled clay beneath, each one a little different in length and shape, some pooling into rounded droplets at the very edge. Sold as seconds. Minor imperfections like a slightly uneven rim, glaze drips that come away or extra glaze texture mean these pieces didn't quite meet our first-quality standards, but they still have plenty of charm. Photos of the flaws are included in the listing images, so you can see exactly what you're getting. Each planter is made in small batches from cone 6 midfire porcelain, shaped by hand and finished with care. Each piece carries its own subtle variation in glaze distribution and organic form. These small differences are the fingerprint of the handmade process. Made with drainage holes, so you can pop in plant straight into the planter.
