46% ABV Producer Notes: Produced with unique and partly secret methods that have remained unchanged since the 18th century, Hampden Estate rum has a distinct and iconic aromatic profile. This is in great part due to an extremely high level of esters achieved by a very long, complex process. The rum has been aged for 8 years in the tropical Jamaican climate, equivalent to almost 25 years of maturation in the European climate. Excellent for sipping and mixology. Tasting Notes Profile: Genuine and complex. Nose: Voluptuous and intense. Notes of ripe banana, allspice, dried orange zest, baked apple. Palate: Persistent and pleasant notes of ginger, vanilla, dark chocolate and coffee bean, resin and praline. Finish: Lingering and enticing. Waxy notes.
