Cold Painted Bronze Model of a Bathtub, Belgium. Late 19th century.

A charming and unusual antique model of a bath tub, originally part of a larger scale dolls house, cast in solid bronze and painted externally in a very dark golden yellow. Some losses to the paint can be seen, but the heavy form is still a joy to behold and would make an excellent little vessel for so many things - a completely unique salt cellar, for example!
