Unlike conventional lowering springs that lock you into a predetermined ride height, AST's adjustable system allows you to fine-tune the vehicle's stance after installation with up to 40mm of adjustment in the front and 35mm in the rear. This makes it easier to achieve the right wheel gap, accommodate different wheel and tire combinations, or fine-tune front-to-rear rake to your preference. Progressive spring rates are designed to improve chassis response and reduce the vehicle's center of gravity while maintaining the everyday usability expected from an X3M or X4M. Most importantly, the system retains the factory adaptive dampers / EDC, allowing the original electronic suspension functionality and drive modes to remain operational.
