A Regency period mahogany pedestal desk with an unusually shallow depth. Having a bleached finish, three frieze drawers, and twin cupboard doors, circa 1820s. 60 ⅛ inches wide by 18 inches deep by 36 inches tall; knee clearance 29 ¾ inches. Left door shows some warping, with veneer repair and losses, age-related wear throughout, and one brass pull face replaced with a penny.
