Burundi Kinama Hill coffee

The Kinama Hills washing station is part of the Migoti Coffee Company. Migoti Coffee Company began in 2015 with the goal to connect local Burundian coffee farmers, through quality coffee processing and transparent supply chains, with buyers and roasters from around the world. The founders of Migoti Coffee, two engineers born in Burundi, had a strong desire to see coffee-producing communities economically transformed, with coffee as a catalyst for the growth. This coffee is a red bourbon variety and is grown between 1650 and 1700 metres above sea level. The whole coffee fruit is dried on raised beds before the fruit and parchment is removed. The coffee was graded according to the SCA scale at 82.5 out of 100. This coffee is packaged in a sealed plastic can and comes with a plastic lid to seal the container once opened. We store the sealed units in a freezer to ensure absolute freshness when it reaches you, regardless of when it was roasted.
