Ron Kusse Graphite Fly Rod 8' 2/1 #5

A Ron Kusse graphite fly rod, 8', 2-piece, 1-tip, #5. Ser. #86-49. It weighs 3 ounces on my scale (the tag states the weight at 2 3/4 ounces). The blank color is reddish black. Used condition with hand soiling to the grip. Sleeve-over ferrule design. The main wraps are red, no edges with plenty of epoxy. Gray ceramic stripper in a shock ring. The snake guides are black. The grip is 6 1/2" long and tapers down to the keeper wrap at the front. The walnut slide-band seat has a lip that acts as a rear cork check. The cap and ring are nickel silver with the butt cap sporting the stamp "Ron Kusse, Maker." The packs into a tan color cloth bag with stiffener and hang tag. The all-aluminum tube is brushed.
