Kilchoman 100% Islay - 12th Edition USA Exclusive

Part of the Kilchoman 100% Islay series, the 12th release. This release was distilled from Kilchoman's 2011, 2012, and 2013 barley harvests (grown exclusively on Islay on a single farm), before the spirit was matured in 19 bourbon barrels and six oloroso sherry butts for at least eight years. On the nose expect sweet peat smoke followed by homemade jam & spices. The palate offers burnt banana bread, toasted nuts and deep chocolate orange. The finish is medium length with hints of cinnamon and cocoa.
