BECK

BECK is a cushioned loop pile wool carpet in a palette of earthy greys and warm neutrals, built for the rooms a family actually lives in. The yarn is pure wool blended with 20% yak fibre and spun four ply, which is what makes the loop feel resilient rather than firm underfoot. At 52oz (1750gsm) with a 7mm pile height it is substantial without being high, so it vacuums easily, does not trap grit, and springs back after furniture is moved. Wool and yak are both renewable and fully biodegradable fibres, and neither needs a chemical treatment to be naturally flame resistant. Five colours, named after moving water and coloured like it: Brook, River, Creek, Stream and Estuary. Supplied in a 4 metre width, and backed by a 20 year residential wear warranty, a 10 year insect warranty and a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defect.
