Sweater Knitting 101 with Karen Miller

Are you ready to start your first knit sweater? In this class, students will work through knitting a top-down raglan sweater from start to finish! This is a four part series! Session 1: September 5 Session 2: September 12 Session 3: October 3 Session 4: October 17 All sessions meet on Saturday mornings 10am-12pm Required Materials Pattern: Flax Worsted by Tin Can Knits (FREE PATTERN) Worsted weight yarn in quantity appropriate for sweater size - see pattern Circular knitting needles for large and small circumference - see pattern for sizes Stitch markers, row counter, measuring tape Waste Yarn Prerequisites - students must be familiar with the following skills: Cast on to knit in the round Knit, purl, increase stitches, and decrease stitches Large and small circumference knitting Please complete a gauge swatch prior to first class session!
