About the artwork The design has been adapted from the oil painting titled 'Sailing' by Finnish artist Elin Danielson-Gambogi, a central figure in the Finnish Golden Age of Art. With expressive brush strokes, still visible in the notebook design, the artwork captures the movement of white sail boats sailing on choppy blue waters near rocks in a sea landscape, under a cloudy sky.
