The Delta® Ultra-Light 1000 delivers universal compatibility and ease of use for caregivers and patients alike. Its innovative transition box allows seamless integration with Drive and most other manufacturers' bed ends—old and new—eliminating costly replacements. The asymmetrical design features a taller headboard for better home décor fit, while wood grain panels resist breaks and scratches for lasting durability. Engineered for safety and convenience, the foot section weighs 50% less than conventional designs, making deliveries and repositioning effortless. The self-contained motor reduces noise and weight, and can be installed or removed with the patient in bed. Color-coded springs and labeled components ensure accurate side rail installation. In a power failure, the hand control's 9-volt battery lowers head and foot sections up to nine times—no crank required. Built to last, the bed features channel frame construction, a zinc-coated spring deck, and has been safety-tested by SGS to meet all FDA entrapment guidelines. The motor is UL approved.
