The Limbo Chair began with a simple request. “Design us a comfortable modern lounge chair,” Heller CEO John Edelman asked Icelandic designer Hlynur Atlason. The result is a sculptural statement piece that balances bold design with everyday comfort. Limbo’s sweeping, fluid form gently cradles the body in a relaxed position, creating a lounge chair that feels both playful and effortless. Yet behind its easy silhouette lies a careful process of research, testing, and refinement. As Atlason explains, “It took a lot of thinking to make it look this effortless.” Designed with sustainability in mind, Limbo is fully recyclable and made with a high percentage of recycled post-consumer plastic (with black containing the highest percentage).
