Its signal path is fully analog and uses discrete components, with extensive analog controls that let you tailor the presentation to different headphones and listening preferences. The Deluxe adds a premium AKM AK4493 DAC, USB-C digital input and Bluetooth 5.1 HD aptX, allowing it to operate as a standalone headphone system with a computer, smartphone or tablet. It also provides both balanced and unbalanced analog inputs and four different headphone connection formats. Beyond headphone amplification, the HP-10 Deluxe can function as a line preamplifier, with RCA and XLR outputs.
