Baker Egg Thunderegg Geode Pair

A perfect pair, this crystal-filled formation comes from the famous Baker Egg Mine at Baker Ranch in Luna County, New Mexico. Whether you call them Baker Eggs, Thundereggs, Geodes, or Lithophysae, these fabulous stones have amazing crystals inside! Beautiful bands of pink and red Agate ring the sparkling Quartz crystal centers. A surprise mineral friend is also in the mix with this specimen in the form of lovely, UV fluorescent Calcite crystals. This specimen was mined back in the early 1990's and features a bubbly natural exterior, and a cut and polished interior. You will receive both sides of the pair.
