Bosch / Denso Upper O-Ring Retainer Installation Tool

Designed & Built In-House at The Injector Shop Broken or missing upper O-ring retainers are something we regularly encounter while servicing Bosch and Denso fuel injectors. Installing a replacement retainer can be a frustrating job, so we designed our own solution. The Bosch / Denso Upper O-Ring Retainer Installation Tool was designed, tested, and is produced in-house at The Injector Shop to make installation of these retainers easier and more controlled. The two-piece tool consists of a tapered locator and installation die. The locator centers in the injector fuel inlet and gradually expands the new plastic retainer as it moves down the taper. The installation die slides over the locator, allowing smooth, controlled pressure to seat the retainer into its proper position. Designed in-house. Built in-house. Used in our own shop. Position the tapered locator in the injector fuel inlet, place the new retainer over the locator, and slide the installation die into position. Using smooth, steady hand pressure, press the die downward until the retainer moves over the taper and seats onto the injector.
