THE CONCEPT The Kasumi Kimono (霞 — haze, mist in Japanese) is part of the Kakusha 2026 Collection. It reinterprets the traditional kimono silhouette through an essential and contemporary construction, where Japanese minimalism meets architectural design and techwear aesthetics. Its clean lines, geometric construction, and cropped cut reinterpret the traditional kimono from a contemporary perspective, creating a light and architectural silhouette, designed for layering. It is completed with a Magnetic Buckle, a technical closure that provides functionality, precision, and a contemporary visual language, transforming a timeless silhouette into an avant-garde wardrobe essential. SIZE AND MEASUREMENTS One Size – Fits sizes S to L The model is 1.75 m / 5'9" and usually wears size M Wearing the One Size in both the photos and video Shoulder width: 70 cm / 27.6 in Chest width (flat): 60 cm / 23.6 in → Chest circumference: 120 cm / 47.2 in Total length: 54 cm / 21.3 in (including the 5 cm / 2 in collar) Sleeve length: 30 cm / 11.8 in (including the 5 cm / 2 in cuff) From neckline to shoulder seam: 33 cm / 13 in (including the 5 cm / 2 in collar) Magnetic Buckle: 3 cm / 1.2 in Thanks to the adjustable closure system, composed of interior drawstrings and a sliding Magnetic Buckle mounted on a cotton strap, the kimono can comfortably adapt to chest circumferences larger than those indicated. Each piece is hand-cut, so slight variations are part of the artisanal process. DESIGN AND FEATURES ✦ Relaxed straight-cut silhouette: Dropped shoulders and a shorter length that provides lightness and freedom of movement without sacrificing an architectural presence. ✦ Front seams: Each front panel incorporates a vertical seam that defines the shared design language of the Kata, Kasane, and Kasumi kimonos. On the right panel, this seam integrates the 60 cm (23.6 in) cotton webbing on which the Magnetic Buckle slides, making the closure system part of the garment's own architecture. ✦ Magnetic Buckle closure: A technical quick-opening and closing system that provides precision, functionality, and a contemporary visual language. ✦ Adaptable adjustment system: Thanks to the interior drawstrings and the sliding Magnetic Buckle mounted on the cotton strap, the kimono can be easily adjusted to increase or reduce its volume, comfortably adapting to different chest circumferences. ✦ Versatile by nature: Can be worn as an overshirt or light jacket, easily adapting to different styles and layers. FABRIC AND ORIGIN Premium deadstock fabric made in Europe Composition: 60% Linen · 40% Viscose The freshness of linen combines with the soft drape of viscose. 100% Cotton webbing Color: Black GARMENT CARE Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30 °C / 86 F · Do not tumble dry · Iron at medium-high temperature, preferably with steam.
