Bessey C-clamps

C-clamps are used when high clamping forces are required with the same clamping widths, primarily in metal and steel construction. The C-clamp is considered to be the original form of screw clamp. A wide variety of materials were and are used in their manufacture. For example, there were once models made of pure wood. Today, models with forged brackets and VC-clamps in proven BESSEY all-steel quality are available on the market. The special feature of the VC-clamp is that its handle is made from original BESSEY profile steel from the in-house drawing shop, tempered and electrogalvanized. This achieves a much higher tensile strength than cast versions. For high clamping forces: Ideal in metal and steel construction when maximum force is required with the same clamping width. Robust construction: Forged or drawn versions for extreme load-bearing capacity. BESSEY quality steel: VC models made from our own profile steel offer significantly higher tensile strength.
