Russell Boot - Bison

Our namesake, now in North American bison — one of the most distinctive leathers we work with. Bison hide has a natural grain that varies dramatically across the hide — bold and open in some areas, tight and fine in others. When building in bison, We hand-select each panel for grain character, choosing what will best complement the lines and proportions of each style. Like a thumbprint, no two hides are the same, and each pair is unique. The Russell Boot is constructed with a canvas toe cap which provides some structure but will collapse over time. Select a celastic toe box for a more structured toe box or a fibreglass cap for added protection. Fully lined. Sleeker and more modern than the original Canadian military service boot it's based on.
