Being Human in the Age of AI: What happened to the soul?

Wednesday 16 September | 6pm–7pm Prof Peter Tyler Throughout September, The Tablet will be running a series of webinars exploring Pope Leo XIV’s current project: the retrieval of Catholicism’s account of the human person at a time when technology, economics and politics are increasingly redefining what it means to be “human”. In his encyclical, Pope Leo argues that technological progress must remain ordered towards human dignity, relationship, love and the common good. This offers a new lens through which to read the Church’s rich tradition, and The Tablet will explore these themes in greater depth through a series of three special webinars.
